At first I viewed the Covid-19 lockdown period as a time when I would be able to concentrate on my art without the usual everyday distractions. And yet, as the world changed, and in common with many other artists, I found myself stuck. Prompted by one of the many sketchbook projects being run online, I went back to basics and started some mark making. It wasn’t long before I wanted to take these marks onto the glass and so this series of small dishes and wall panels evolved; initially focused on abstract marks; then extending the technique to sketches of my beloved coastal landscape.
Small fused glass and glass powder panels float mounted on white board and framed (external frame measurement 24cm square).
All pieces are available in either black or white frames; let me know if you would like to change from the one shown.
